Located at a distance of 1.6 kilometers from the main city, Lonavala Lake dates back to the 18th century. The fort has a total of three gates that join the main entrance ‘Delhi Gate’. The four gates that were designed centuries ago still stand intact. Lohagad Fort stands at a height of 1,050 meters and the site resembles the “fangs of a scorpion”. ​
